Not sure what happened to Leah Middleton, but it was an injury that was so bad, they decided to call off and postpone the match in the second Q. Poor Leah.
I just had a look at the match on Youtube and apparently it was “what looked like a very bad ankle injury.” An ankle injury so bad they had to call the match off? I suppose it’s not a huge venue and it might have been hard to care for her properly if there aren’t the proper facilities. Wishing poor Leah a speedy recovery.
Just curious, is there any difference in the super shot time or zone in this comp compared to the SSN? Just noticed in the Thunder vs Forest game there were 25 super shots. In SSN they wouldn’t even get half of that? Generally speaking?
It’s exactly the same. I think the big difference is that a few teams have really good long-range shooters (Thunder & Forest are 2) and the defence hasn’t worked out tactics to try to stop it yet.
StatsNerd21, the injury to Middleton was a broken ankle/lower leg, so quite similar to the Sasha Glasgow injury where they also called the game off. Admittedly that was only a pre-season game though.
