I was thinking the same thing @Maryann and even if it wasn’t quite that extreme, it’s still a lot for the others round her to have to deal with and then try to get back on with the game – and if it was that bad – well it doesn’t really bare thinking about – I fractured and dislocated my ankle a few years ago (not playing netball) and even just reading the above is enough to trigger bad memories (for lack of a better term)
Hmmm…
I no longer follow the English league closely but like to keep a watch on both NZ and former SSN players – is she injured?
What do you make of SWJ unavailable Ian?
She’s seemingly still having trouble with her knee as she was at the Swifts. She missed the pre-season and missed round 1, came back for a short stint in round 2, but she’s out again. It always seemed like a strange signing for Lightning to make (for various reasons).
SWJ, think I saw the back of her head in round 2…and yes she was/is a strange signing for Lightning. They let their under 21 GA go to Rhinos and they have a Scottish international in the next gen league so why do they need her 🤔
I signed up to watch the next gen games, the streaming is poor but I’m hoping to see George Inger.
Poor LM, wishing her speedy recovery, I hope you can make the CWG.
We still aren’t getting the “to the wire” games that the league reset was supposedly going to deliver – and I am NOT that impressed with the Supershot either…is this a real case of Emperor’s New Clothes that we’ve been sold?
The Dragons v Panthers game was looking like being a close one until Leah’s injury. But yeah, only one close game out of 11.
Sometimes, one team is just better than the other. As simple as that. And super shots aren’t going to help when the best teams also have the best SS shooters!

Have we ever heard what the injury is to Lois Pearson?
No, not sure.
