A lot of Sirens, Storm and Bath players are gone. A lot of Scottish players in particular are now without a team.

By the way, I think there are basically the same number of imports. Yes, 6 Australians is up from 3 this year, but there are 2 less South Africans.

How many imports in total? If the total is about the same surely it is a higher proportion if there are less teams and less players in the new competition.

Yes, that’s correct. A total of 120 squad members this year down to 80 next year, with the number of imports 15. All teams have 2 imports except Rhinos with 1. And that doesn’t include South African Sigi Burger at Panthers who has a British passport and isn’t considered an “import”.
