I’m guessing Nweke will be sitting out the TJ and rest will make up the 15. Then game day squad changing throughout the series.

Nothing against the Roses squad named, I’m sure they are young, keen and have something to prove.

However from a SF perspective I would have liked to see a more experienced mix of players. I feel like the Roses will get way more out of this series than the SF.

If this Roses squad beats us, then NZ really needs to rethink its domestic comp. That entire squad is domestic based as minus any Suncorp players, a true reflection of their domestic league which has better import rules and constant recruitment due to higher player movement, increasing player versatility and adaptability. An extra few teams here and more internationals to help raise the standards needs to be considered. 3 games each is boring, stick to home and away with more teams. Afterall we left Mvula on the pulse bench the entire ANZ, a champion with Thunder then a star at the World Cup, but not good enough for ANZ. Something is very wrong. If we want to stay apart we need to provide a better product, not enough room in Suncorp for all those top tier players, let’s get more here and the experience of those retiring to our youngsters.

Woops Except Glasgow and McDonald both experienced in SNN. My bad. And it was Elle McDonald who fed her at TBirds if I’m not mistaken. Be good to see Glascow at GS for Roses too as barely spend time there at Fever.

Add to that article that Wylie said that they had contacted World Netball regarding the England decision.

From memory Elle and Sasha never played together at the thunderbirds. Will be interesting to see how they’ll go.

Yeah, someone else asked about McDonald and Glasgow before. Pretty sure McDonald went to Tbirds the year after Glasgow left.
