Here is Liz Ellis‘s take, and she seems to be against Vixens in this case. And she pointed out a crazy rule that we didn’t know about…

“Had the Vixens been deemed to have forfeited the match, the rules of Super Netball meant they would have been treated as if they had withdrawn for the remainder of the season.”

Which player did Adelaide pick up last year from outside their squad?

I only recall Fever (Briody Condren) and Collingwood (Orr).

Even still I don’t see how that is a fair comparison. As in 2020 they were in a hub and the players were replacing injured players into a 12 player squad. There were no injured players in this instance, squads are 10 and teams are attempting to play a home and away season.

Which team is on their knees financially?

From what I hear the two NSW clubs and two QLD clubs are the ones that have sided with Vixens.

As for Braz she is ex Fever and now Collingwood. She is never going to side with Vixens.

I think it is also important to remember that whilst rules of SSN should be respected and abided by they were written pre covid. Therefore, before we lived in a nation with closed state borders and the requirement for travel exemptions.
