Well I do hope it’s not Meels or Jane. I was thinking it was a player from a North team!!!!.
I reckon it’s Rore, Saunders or Karaka.
That will explain why Rore and Saunders got benched recently and why Karaka has faded.
Any news about Holly Fowler?
I definitely think it’s Ameilaranne! Can’t think who else, unless it’s Jane Watson! I don’t think it’s Phoenix.
Would be happy if it was Katrina but I don’t see her coming back if it was and would be sad to not see her one more time in the black dress.Yeah wouldn’t be surprised if it was Meels.
She was sick against Tactix, but was still hugging/kissing players after the match.Karaka and Saunders also saw more bench time than expected.
If it is Meels, Noels will have a lot of time to develop some new shooting options.
Wilson Dunn SRicket Nweke Bird are all mostly GS players. Need some GAsWhen was the last time NZL had a “natural” GA in the Ferns? It always seems like the GAs are GSs who are forced out of position. Obviously a few of them become great GAs like Ekenasio, Folau, Brown etc.
Well it’s time for Te Paea to pull finger if she is to be number 1 GA.
The person in question won’t be playing this weekend because her team isn’t in the finals.
After reading some of the comments Eke could be a new one perhaps?
I wonder if they would look at developing Wilson as a GA? She has shown good distance shooting all year and is a lot fitter than ever before.
If Ekenasio won’t be playing for the SF for whatever reason this year and the Constellation Cup goes ahead, I’d run Wilson at GA, probably with Dunn.
I would love to see a Dunn Wilson combo be develop for NZ. Not our number 1 combo, but I think it could be a good combo.
Scans confirm WBOP Magic defender Holly Fowler has ruptured her ACL and her MCL in her right knee.
Fowler pulled up in the final seconds of the teams loss to the Stars on August 9. She was ruled out of the 2017 #netball season when she did her ACL in her other knee.— Bridget Tunnicliffe (@bridgettunni) August 17, 2020
That is so sad for Fowler. It really didn’t look that bad at the time and I was hoping for the best. In the final seconds of the last game of the season makes it even worse.
Hoping for a speedy recovery for her.
