Pitman may only have a year or 2 left so a good signing while Colyer comes back from injury
Aryang and Lewis have shown they are more than capable at SSN level and would be crazy not to contract them, especially over Eagland who I don’t even remember getting on court this season?

I think they’d be better to keep Cosh than go for Pitman. She’s from WA and slotted in very well for her experience level and she can shoot too!

I think lots of people were expecting Francis to return to England but I think the Fever have a sense of unfinished business.
This probably also means that Aryan won’t be offered a contract.

There is definitely a place for Aryang in the 10. Fever could very well go for a couple of swing players.

For example:

Wallam

Cosh (can also cover GA)
Charles
Anstiss
Francis (can also play circle D)

Bruce
Lewis
Aryang.

It’s unlikely they’d promote Wallam at this stage but they won’t have Fowler forever so it would be great if they could expose her now. Then they have great cover for Fowler if anything happens, but they can still change up the circle with Cosh who is more than serviceable in goals.

Shannon Eagland and Ingrid Colyer not offered Fever contracts for 2021.

In Colyer’s case, this is all due to her knee injury and Fever will be working with her on her rehabilitation.

She says she wants to develop her GA game. Wish her well. Just feel perhaps she’s better suited to GS and wonder if some of her talents will be wasted. For example, she is an incredible rebounder. But playing GA and with Fowler at GS, that skill won’t be needed much.
