Now that the two point shot has been introduced to the SSN despite seemingly no players or fans wanting it, I was wondering if there were any other rules about the way the game is played that would be more positive received?
Something I’ve wanted to see since the 2016 ANZ Champs final was that players couldn’t rebound their own shots if they were the first person to touch the ball, basically a replay rule. This was after Aiken shot something like 60/90 and got 30 rebounds from under the post, which I thought painted the game in a poor light. This would also lead to new tactics mentioned in the SSN press release especially when it comes to penalty shots and rebounding positions but doesn’t add some gimmick into the game.
