Metuarau summed it up nicely, deliberate play with less errors.

I think Saunders perhaps needed a reminder to tidy up. Though took it like a champ.

More importantly, SF camp potentials high shooting stats.

I feel like a 6 goal advantage means nothing at half time. Jury making the Steel hesitant on the feeds.

Oh Mcleod, I know you are smiling.

It shows how dominate Nweke is to the Mystics. The Tactix also put out a more solid performance.

    Nice high shooting stats.

Nweke isn’t on the team sheet. Probably for the best to ensure a good recovery long term. These are the kind of games where DNT will be looking closely at Toeava and Earle.

Ekenasio had patchy games at the Pulse, so I’m not particularly phased by the shooting (at this point).
Great morale boost for the Magic and perhaps some adjustments for the Mystics if Nweke is out.

I guess this is the problem when your whole game plan revolves around one player.

Im more interested in watching Magic shooters/Mystics defense.

Thank goodness the SF are finding their form!! A nice spine is developing.

    I’ll take a bonus point.

de Bruin (and Purvis) amazing legend of a player. The Stars are lucky to call on experienced players.

However, it would have also been an opportunity to use a junior player.

IMO Poi’s defensive skills is what has stopped her making the SF. If she can replicate today’s form at SF camp then she certainly deserves a spot at Comm games.

With Nweke most likely out Monday night, the Magic will need to take the opportunity and put in a good performance. I will be interested in watching Toeavas short game.

Dissent calls seems to be this season umpires theme. I have no problem with this as respect and discipline will be paramount at an international level.

I think Nweke had all sorts running through her mind when it happened. Hopefully more the shock and then followed by a quick recovery.

Oddly enough, I was just thinking if Ekenasio is progressing nicely with her fitness it really does open up the door for Nweke at Comm games.

Overall, all the teams have stepped up this round.

Totally agree Wewood. I’m not trying to be unkind. Even when Jury played GD her slight lack of understanding in the position showed.

As soon as an article comes out with DNT suggesting SF starters need to step up…look what happens!

The Magic really need a NATURAL WA who has speed, vision and the dodging ability.

I can literally see the conditioning work Ekenasio has been doing. She looks great (regarding her netball play)!

One month to sort themselves out which really isn’t much time at all. The symptoms and positive test long gone but the fatigue hang around for what seemed like forever.

Sadly, I’m going to assume Ekenasio might not reach her targets either. Who knows what tonight brings though…
