Yes! In a way, it puts every team back at square one. 5 weeks to regain lost fitness.

Ouch those shooting stats (in this game but also in the two other games). Hopefully early days with plenty more opportunities to improve.

I’m going to enjoy watching Jury and Fakahokotau battle it out for a possible SF spot.

Wow, what a game between Jam and SF. Really come down to conditioning, composure and basic errors in the 2nd half.

Sterling’s ‘frustration’ is a very unlikeable part of her game.

Great to see Dame NT mix up the combos. Everyone needs some court time, especially when developing the new wave.

Im not surprised the team is looking long term regarding captaincy. Ekenasio is an absolute star of the team. I just hope it doesn’t add extra pressure on her shooting game.

Players like Nweke, Earle and Gordon need to go through the U21 system just like Langman, Kopua and Folau did before them.

The current team stood out during the Super Club and all went to Sippy Downs for WC preparation. Excluding Poi but I imagine being in the Magpies camp has been comparable. Still crossing my fingers NT continues after the Nations Cup.

Im not surprised at all by the selection of the team. NT likes to stick to a formula of players.

With Langman on sabbatical, we need as many options as possible in the WA and C positions.

I really pleased to see the ‘new wave’ of players getting a chance to develop internationally.

Fair play to MF for choosing to step aside quietly.

It will be interesting to see who are the four shooters for the Nations cup. Waiting with anticipation for the squad announcement.

Congratulations Magpies, though I can smugly say I picked a Mystics and Magpies final at the start of this forum.

I hope NT takes this opportunity to bring in (at least two) new faces into the SF.
Nweke is a dilemma for me, do you/dont you? Aspects of her game are extraordinary, other aspects need time to polish.

Understandably, the last three games have been very fatigued.

The next game should be intriguing.

Two close games. Let’s hope for a third. Surely one team can push the Magpies.

I think fatigue creeping in this last quarter but still good result for the Wasps.
