In theory that is.in reply to: 2024 Fast5 Netball World Series #1381138As MSB just said Lokotui using her basketball background shooting knowledge. Enjoying YMD craftiness as usual.
in reply to: 2024 CONSTELLATION CUP – AUS v NZ (October) #1380945Hindsight is a wonderful thing regarding the SF very tactical and structured changes. Overall the SF spine is growing stronger. Notably Taurua mentioning longer camps.
Fast 5 should hopefully expose some new GA talent.
Congratulations to the Diamonds securing the last game.
in reply to: 2024 CONSTELLATION CUP – AUS v NZ (October) #1380529Highly entertaining game to watch last night. Previously the SF have been guilty of being too slow in finding their rhythm. The whole team was fired up and in the zone
Very much looking forward to seeing how this series plays out. Certain matchups will critical in gaining advantages.
Congratulations Roses.
I think Taurua used that game very wisely overall. 2 debuts, decent courttime for certain players to show their wares.
I’d expect Souness to rejoin the squad game 2.
Im hoping to see some test debuts tonight.
Yes, Bowring umpired in NZ.
Netball pass will show the games for AUS viewers. Smallish fee to pay. It was well worth it for the Roses/Diamonds.in reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378745So Kamo (Stars) and Thomas (Steel) eligible for both NZ and AUS.
Wallams also eligible to play for Diamonds despite signing with the Mystics.
in reply to: 2024/25 Silver Ferns Squad #1378682Cardwell won’t be playing the NZ leg.
in reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378674Stars; Falkner, MRB, Samon Nathan, Sinclair, Burley, Kamo.
in reply to: 2024/25 Silver Ferns Squad #1378646Hopefully YMD and Winikerei can work some magic into Wilson, Tui and Salmon at the fast 5s and expand their GA skillset.
I’m not suggesting a handhold approach but there will be a shooting spot open in Dec so we need our all our shooters ready. I’d be inviting Metuarau, Tui and Salmon into SF training camp at the very least.
in reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378645Yes the Falkner post was posted extremely late out of the working day hours in NZ.
Stars: Falkner, MRB, Sinclair, Burley, Kamo
in reply to: 2024/25 Silver Ferns Squad #1378563I quite like the squad.
Unfortunate there wasn’t more competition for the incumbent GA spot but everyone knew the deal.in reply to: 2024 Silver Ferns trialists named #1378468They a had lovely clip on the news of Salmon smashing a long shot with the GA bib on.
Walmsley and Ekenasio,
Salmon and Wilson, Tui and Metuarau paired, whatever that means! -
