Thank you Nesian.
So by process of elimination Metuarau/ Walmsley are expected to stay at the Pulse. Possibly a Tui/Ekenasio combo at the Magic.Any more juicy insights?
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361431Hume departing the Stars.
I’m still predicting a Fisher/Hume combo.
in reply to: 2023 WORLD CUP (Cape Town, SA) #1361429Nelson (and Wilson) held together ‘that’ tour to NZ. Very short slighted not to select Nelson who has more cycles to give internationally.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361107No problem having an opinion.
More recently the Steel have had trouble recruiting and have only picked up players looking for more courttime.
I would support teams applying for an extra import especially if another team isn’t using their quota. For reference, I don’t even support the Steel but we need our teams to be highly competitive. Being win less just isn’t good enough.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361076Solid team with few changes.
Come on everyone else release your team names. Hopefully Bloxham can scout whilst coaching Wales.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361071Definitely room for imports. I would be snapping them up considering the drama across the ditch.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361034Ioane has played for 3 franchises (Stars, Mystics and Pulse) C/WD
Lokotui perhaps doing a swap? Are imports restricted to one per team? Purely by location the Auckland teams will have higher retention than the Steel.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361025So farewell Malcolm officially. Who is this mystery midcourt player the Tactix have signed.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1360936No surprises. Watson back at the Tactix.
Very enjoyable article :good:
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1360847Manu’a leaving to return to AUS. NZ is officially light on defenders. Lucky Watson hasn’t retired as yet.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1360826Muvla officially leaving the Pulse, understandably.
I think Tui and Ekenasio would make a good pairing? Hume perhaps looking for more courttime down south? Just theorizing.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1360813Thank you as always @Nesian. That’s fantastic news for the Tactix and NNZ.
On a side note, I think Lloyd could snap up a starting spot somewhere.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1360810Otaki is Pulse territory. With Manu’a supposeably returning to AUS technically there is an opening.
Though I think Mason is on the radar to step up. Just my speculation, I know absolutely nothing. Come on Nesian spill some discreet tea.in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1360801I think the Steel are always going to struggle (especially against
AKL teams) unless NNZ adjusts (slightly) their import rule. There aren’t any NZ defenders to poach with the expected retirements and exits. I could support Fisher (currently still an import) and an international defender playing at the Steel. -
