    @schmeetle – thanks I didn’t realise that.

    I also wonder how Ingrid Collyer is going with her rehab, surely she would be close to being back on court, so I’m very interested that the Fever haven’t signed her and said that the mid court is complete.

    It’s interesting that the Tbirds have taken a fair while to announce these last signings.
    Makes me wonder whether it’s not such smooth sailing for signings at the moment…

    It’ll be interesting to see how Moore goes- Tilly McDonell hasn’t gotten much court time and in my opinion doesn’t make a huge difference when she is on court. I wouldn’t be surprised if Moore gets more of a starting position over McDonnell as she’s a bit more experienced.

    What’s Moore’s prefered/best position? I thought she was more a circle defender after starting a (maybe last?) season replacing Maddy Turner, but seems to be playing WD a bit more lately.
    If she’s a better circle defender the Vixens would be a great fit.

    Also Petty is the captain, I would baffled if 2 years in a row a captain was somewhat blindsided by the T’birds and not given a contract like Chelsea Pitman was.

    @TB that sounds like a pretty good guess I hadn’t even thought of that, for some reason I think it might be Kumwenda but I have no idea why.

    I agree thats a competitive team, I just don’t know how willing Obst will be to move her golden girl Horjus out of the circle.

    Dwan possibly at the T’birds makes no sense to me. I don’t think that T’birds will improve her game and she’ll be expected to work around Horjus and change her game if they play together. I’m praying that she doesn’t end up on the same path as Gooden.

    @Tully
    Totally agree about Austin, if she does go to the Vixens, its going to develop her Diamonds career hugely. Most of the Vixen’s team is in either the Diamonds or development Squad so forming those connections will make her more attractive for good court time in competitions.

    I can’t understand Hinchcliffe either, I feel as though she played her best with Jenner and don’t know how she’ll gel with other defensive units and also with her knee surely she won’t be playing until very late 2022 or maybe miss the season entirely.

    Agreed @netballcrazy1
    They can’t loose Shammy – not only is she amazing herself, but she’s supported Garrett so much and helped Garrett improve hugely in my opinion.

    This signing period is so crazy… It’ll be so interesting to see which teams are going to benefit and which ones won’t because so many clubs are loosing players that feel really integral to the team and I wonder how they’ll go fitting into different clubs.

    Would love to see Dwan at the Vixens, seeing her fed by Watson and Moloney would be amazing!
    Pretty sad for Barkmeyer, who I thought showed promise early on but wasn’t really given a chance at all later in the season, especially when being fed by a young Mundy and a Moloney trying to fill Watson’s gap.
