While others were up and down in terms of form, she was consistently good for the Roses over the course of the tournament.

Full time: ENG 61-55
A gallant South African team fought all the way to the end, but England were just a bit too good. No surprise that Funmi Fadoju is named POTM as it was her defensive pressure that turned the match in the Roses’ favour.

What a chaotic game! Refiloe Nketsa has been sent off for the rest of the match, so SA is playing with 6 for a period. Meanwhile, Funmi Fadoju has been causing all sorts of problems. Despite that, England hasn’t been able to fully capitalise.

A big quarter for England. Halfway through the Q, they hit the front after a couple of crucial misses in the South African shooting circle. Liv Tchine has been so strong up front and Berri Neil has made a difference since coming on at GA.

South Africa got out of the blocks quickly and led 6-2 with their defence on top early through Visser. The Proteas maintained the lead for the rest of the Q.

A strong finish from the She-Cranes as they won the last Q by 4 with POTM Mary Cholhok finishing it in style on the buzzer with a shot from just inside the circle.

Anyone’s game. It’s coming right down to the last Q to decide 3rd place. For Malawi, Masamba was suspended for 2 minutes late in the quarter. She has a minute to go of that suspension.

Eyaru 8/8The game’s really come alive and the crowd is getting into it. A terrific 2nd quarter (15-9) from Uganda with Margret Baagala having a great game for them. This time it was Malawi with the errors.

Eyaru 4/4Uganda got off to a poor start with turnovers having them down 8-3. They gradually worked their way into the match but at this stage, Malawi looks the more composed team.
