Super excited this is back. Will need to spend some time as last year I didn’t do too well haha

I think Swifts would have paid a lot for Rore. They bought in Fraser and Halpin for Proud and Moore so would have saved a lot of money there.
Who will be the dominant WA now? Hard to pick for FN

Bring back Thwaites! I’m sure she could slot in at WA, she can do everything else :yahoo:
Devastating for Liz but I guess kind of a good year to do it, having just won SSN and no major comp this year
Knowing Liz will be back next year I say bring in Pitman. No point blooding a new player next year who will most likely be demoted to TP once Liz gets back anyway

Excited for Stars this year. I think they’ve recruited well
Wilson, Falkner, Crampton, Reulu-Buchanan, Mather, Maihi, Temu will be a solid line up

Another amazing article. Don’t remember much of her playing days besides Firebirds but love her analysis of games

    My preferred starting 7
    Bassett
    Austin
    Watson
    Proud
    Simpson
    Weston
    Klau

Over 4 games I hope we see players give a chance.
4 Shooters need to be in every game day. Dwan definitely not ready to debut but will be great to be in the environment
IMO Watson, Hadley and Simpson need to be rested a bit and see what the others can do. I would not have picked Anstiss or Charles and would have preferred Parmenter and Nankivell over them
I’d like to see Klau, Weston and Jenner play majority of matches. Unless Bruce is at GD with Klau at GK

I think she is going to go 3/6/3. In her interview she highlighted midcourt
    My picks would be:
    Ekenasio
    Wilson
    Mes
    Saunders
    Poi
    Crampton
    Kersten
    Souness
    Burger
    Watson
    Jury
    Fitzpatrick

Craig would have been good as a TP again. Maybe she is going to Giants?
Anderson would be a good replacement as a TP for Swifts

Adelaide either sign a defender or a midcourt. I liked what I saw of van der Merwe in GD last year so her and Garrett could share GD and get another midcourter
Petty and Nankivell can easily cover WD/C but they might need a WA. If only they didn’t get rid of Pitman!

Thunderbirds probably regretting Shimmin decision now. I don’t think Garrett and Sterling will click for a full 60 minutes

    Brandley to Giants
I believe now only Thunderbirds have 2 defenders and Vixens 2 shooters to name

Also Akle liked to play Klau at GD but Moore wasn’t strong enough at GK, With Shimmin there she could be GK with Klau at GD. I think that would be awesome against teams like Fever and Firebirds

I actually really liked Moore at WD/GD this season. If they had Turner and Moore swing between WD/GD like Eddy and Weston did in the earlier rounds it would work with Shimmin to come on to give a change up if needed at GK or GD
