Imagine in a few years time a circle of Dwyer and Samason!
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 5 #1324895NZ have plenty of shooters, Samason is ours!
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 5 #1324857I wonder if the Vixens will bring in Tayla Honey for a game? Mundy has had good and average patches whenever she’s played and I think Honeys court craft might help the Vixens. Though I would hope the shooters present strongly since both Moloney and Honey can get hesitant on the feed.
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 4 #1324445I think Dwyer can afford to wait, its definitely a matter of when rather than if for her. Australia have Basset, Koenan, Wood, Tippet, Glasgow and maybe even Dwan or Garbin of they can get solid court time/find some form. Plus Austin to come in when she’s better. ATM I’d say it will be Tippet Wood Koenan and Glasgow for CC at the end of the year.
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 4 #1324145I thought Glasgow mightve got the start but I guess they like her impact and not giving defenders time to adjust
Yes to all of the above
in reply to: Netball in Social Media #1324042Hahah Garbin! So savage
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 3 #1323700Enzola, it could also be that the defenders pay extra close attention to her in that time as Koenan is not always a threat from that range.
Oh wow, if he was trying to get the heat off himself there’s a much better way to do it. I agree with others… someone put him in a room with Norma Plumber so she can sort him out.
Does anyone know what he said? I can’t click on the article but as a fan if both NRL and Netball I get so frustrated by the lack of respect by the major football codes. There’s so many comments like “its not netball” in reference to players or teams needing to toughen up. I definitely love netball and the amazing women who play and coach a lot more.
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 2 #1323174Giants tend to match up well on Fever so Im interested in that game but I can’t see Lightning or Firebirds having a big impact defensively(maybe Rudi Ellis GK with Tara Hinchliffe in GD)… however their attack ends will cause Fevers defence some headaches. Personally I think the Swifts should be lining up with Hadley in WD and I’m not too sure why Proud was brought off, Fraser’s circle edge intercept was brilliant but once in the attack end there were no calm heads or experience to know what to do. Which is a bit ridiculous when Housby and Haythornthwaite should be stepping up but Nat has been struggling with consistency and I find if she doesn’t start and comes on it always takes awhile to have impact.
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 2 #1323170Some interesting changes by the Swifts, I dont think Swifts have figured out their strongest line-up yet.
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 2 #1323165There’s been multiple games already this year where they’ve stuffed up the clock/scoreboard
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 2 #1323162The Swifts lost momentum when Klau came off, Glasgow is going to be a great point of difference for the Fever this year I think.
in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 2 #1323158The Swifts are playing well but I get the feeling the Fever have another couple of gears to go up. I hope I’m wrong though
