I think this great if it is true. Would love to see her in the SSN. I would also like to see other silver ferns there as well.

in reply to: 2025 SUNCORP SUPER NETBALL #1376896I don’t understand why RAG will leave Thunderbirds. She has been great for them.
in reply to: 2024 ANZP ROUND 15 #1376895I don’t think we will see any roses from the SSN. They never come to NZ.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1366017Even if we had won silver/gold at the world cup my opinion on the ANZ premiership would still be the same. I really dislike the three rounds it is too much of the same thing with only 6 teams. I have not paid to watch netball on sky for the ANZ for last two years. I rather pay to watch the SSN. I agree with a lot of the comments on the article. It is stale.
in reply to: Silver Ferns WC squad predictions #1364169It will be interesting to see what players England bring to the Taini Jamison cup. Will they rest Cardwell and Housby as they have had a very busy year.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361110If Fisher had played this year do you think Steel would have at least won a game? If so how many?
Very interested in people’s opinion. I think it would be quite possible they would have.
I just think all this talk about steel is far too premature. It was ONE season. No out cry last year when Taxtix came last or in 2021 and 2022 when Magic came last ( they only won one game in 2021 and two in 2020). 2019 it was Mystics turn, 2018 stars and 2017 Tactix. So actually this was Steel first turn coming last and the steel supporters think that everything is unfair. Yes it was a tough season but as already been said so have other teams had tough seasons.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361106Thanks Museboy, glad someone else gets what I am saying.
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1361099Well I am not going to be popular saying this but what is with all the griping from Steel supporters? Steel has had a couple of bad years after years and years and years of being successful. No nobody wants to see a team not winning, but there have been other teams in the ANZ that have not been successful at all. But since it is the Steel there have been comments about they need help, poor them struggling so much, it is unfair how other teams have certain players, there should be a draft. With their import player Fisher back next year (fingers crossed) steel will do much better.
Just reminder since the ANZ premiership, Steel 2 wins, Pulse 3 wins and Mystics 2 wins. Maybe Stars, Magic and Tactix should gripe because they haven’t won a championship.Yip I know I will get so much shit flung at me for saying this.
What is up with the Invercargill Licensing Trust? They use to support the netball so much do they still?
in reply to: Silver Ferns WC squad predictions #1359369I agree with you TB regarding Gordan. A fabulous ANZ player but not always translated to a fabulous Silver Fern Player.
It will be interesting to see who Noeline picks.
Hope that the Silver Ferns win the world cup again, but there is some tough competition out there. The Jamaicans and the English players in the SSN are looking good. Will be interesting to see how this translate to their teams.
in reply to: 2023 ANZP ROUND 10 #1358862How disappointing have the tactix been. I admit I have not been watching the games, and glad I haven’t. I personally think the coach should go, I have never been a fan of Marianne Delaney-Hoshek. However the issue is to find another one. Every year there is some problem with one area of the court. It sounds like it is the midcourt this year. Feel for Jane and Karin, hope neither of them leaves.
in reply to: 2023 ANZP ROUND 10 #1358855I have always like Malesala, I think she has in the past been underrated, perhaps fitness has been an issue? I am pleased she has found her groove this year. I also think she has a chance of a silver ferns cap. Either now or especially after world cup.
in reply to: NZ U21 Coach… #1358852TB, I don’t know for sure but Julie has been busy with her kids. I know she was quite involved with netball at club/school level with her youngest daughter. Maybe the timing is better for her now. But I agree it has been a long time coming. Hope she does well, I like her as a coach.
in reply to: 2023 SSN ROUND 2 #1356175I’m just wondering who can tell the umpires that the centre pass is incorrect? I know I read somewhere that the magpies coach was trying to tell them and also apparently Sophie Garbin. Not to cause controversy do you think either of the centres (jovic or watson) knew? I realise in the heat of the game mistakes are made. I would like to know who is allowed to approach the umpires.
in reply to: 2023 NS FANTASY NETBALL – SSN #1355138Can we enter in both comps?
