@Nesian I wish I had taken a screen shot of it now (which I had done a few times to send announcements through to my mother) when I first saw them, I said on here about them both, but by the time Ian posted the link about Maia it was gone
@Nesian Stars did put one up before they posted the Maia one, and took it back down after not very long – the first few comments on IG were all negative so not sure if that was why
apparently Takarangi thought she has trialled really well, and then there was just nothing when she wasn’t named in any team/squad, no comms from anyone at all about it – so was left quite perplexed about it all (my mum was at a benchies lunch last week, and one of the ladies had been talking to Georgia just a couple of days before that)

Malesala posted this on instagram 6 days ago “I’ve been awarded the Prime Ministers Scholarship to complete my Professional Legal Studies so I can be admitted to the bar and become a practising Lawyer. Officially one step closer to legally arguing for a living”
so maybe she’s chosen to take the year off to focus on that (and would also explain the not making the SF trials)

@TB ACD may be cover for Wilshire if she’s still not ready at the start of the season? I was hoping either her or Winders would get the spot ahead of de Bono

Stars – 2x Shooters, 1x defence
Magic – 1x Shooter
Pulse – 3x Defence
Tactix – 4 x Middies (assuming Lokotui is D, otherwise 3/1 split)
still a fair bunch of players contracted in 2024 (replacements players included) that haven’t been named, so I’m guessing a few will miss out completely – which I imagine will bolster the NNL ranks and hopefully bring it a step closer to where it should be in comparison to ANZ level
