in reply to: Silver Ferns Squad for 2023/24 #1364625
if they want Walmsley to play (for lack of a better term) she better harden the f**k up, and fast – barring injury you can’t just start crying in the middle of an international match as we’ve seen a couple of times – and she’s going to get bashed around a hell of a lot more…I think she’s needs atleast a series up against the mens team first.
stoked for Burley & Lokotui – though I really hope they’re not pushing her too hard too soon in regards to her knee
in reply to: Silver Ferns Squad for 2023/24 #1364614TPSR has made herself unavailable, and apparently Sam Winders is taking a break from netball
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1364358are there any internationals that are a possibility? the only one I could think of that has a connection is Chelsea Pitman (didn’t they say there was something about work commitments to be sorted out before it’s announced?)
in reply to: 2024 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1364356@Maryann she did just spend some time over in Aussie…
in reply to: Silver Ferns WC squad predictions #1364324I totally agree with all of that nanator, and mcleod
I’d be totally open to letting some of our top players play across the ditch, and also opening up the anz to more imports.
Silverferns just didn’t look at all happy right from the start, most of the other teams were, you could almost say, jubilant in their attitudes (England and Tonga especially – so spirited), where as we looked barely capable of a smile at times. maybe they should’ve added enjoyment as one of their ‘processes’ may’ve made a world of difference (maybe not in the final result but in the overall performance)
in reply to: 2023 WORLD CUP – Stage 2 Schedule #1363101pretty crappy scheduling when NZ and Jamaica both have to back up with a morning game playing against each other after playing the night before, where as Aus and England have a full day off before they go head to head…
