in reply to: 2021 ANZP ROUND 9 #1326409
maybe put Fenwick in at GS? has experience at this level in the shooting circle, added height and strong rebounder for TPSR to take the majority of the shots..

in reply to: 2021 SSN ROUND 1 #1322622Seeing McKinnis quietly thinking “well I made Thwaites a GA, can I make Kumwenda a GA???”
back when both she and Mes played for the Tactix they used to switch between the two positions regularly

in reply to: Coronavirus and netball #1318373Wellington Phoenix have just had someone come in who is an international (somewhere in Europe) along with his wife and 3 kids – as well as international sports teams, so I can’t see CBass, Woulf (sp) having any issues – and I believe that anyone from the UK/US has to have a negative test before they even board a plane – so Fisher should be okay if they’ve planned it well – although knowing over here female sport isn’t as important as mens’ so may have to jump through more hoops (like Marshall not being allowed back last year)
in reply to: CENTRAL PULSE 2021 #1317767TB she’s only just passed her ‘allowed to run’ milestone – was on Magics FB yesterday – so guessing she’ll take the full season to get it right
in reply to: 2020 Melbourne Cup sweep! #1317310the last two times I’ve put in for it at work my horses have died, so I don’t want to tempt fate at make it 3 😥 :negative:
in reply to: 2020 Cadbury Series #1315856Jinxibo – I think I read that the three who don’t make the SF’s match day 12 will play for NZA
in reply to: 2020 Cadbury Series #1315679that’s is what I was thinking Nesian – those sort of things do take time – even back in the old days of the beep test(didn’t realise how short of time was between the two tests), unless there was enough of an improvement to show it would keep improving? (not making excuses just trying to work out why they would say she’d passed the standard when she didn’t) I guess it will show soon enough – you can’t hide a lack of fitness out on court!! especially playing against the guys – where the physical pressure is constant
in reply to: 2020 Cadbury Series #1315664if some people didn’t have bad luck they wouldn’t have any luck at all -I was gutted for her – atleast she has age on her side to bounce back again!!
I was hoping they’d have Nweke (and Gordon/Earle) in the U21’s team -would be a good series for them to prep for the World youth cup… however in saying that – I’d quite like to see her at GS with Maia at GA for a try – could be a future pairing (just look at Thwaites this year at GA)
and as for Dunn, I think she has let her SF chance slip by, Maia put in the hard yards to get super fit when they were both pretty much on a level playing field, and has surpassed her, and now Nweke has come in, and by the sounds has also been putting in the work – and is only going to get better….
I kept refreshing yesterday (here, google news search etc) getting more frustrated nothing was coming up   , and then eventually realised (at the end of the day  ) that it was only Thursday and they’d said Friday
Langman was in two of the photos Magic put up to say their announcements for start today – maybe I’m reading too much into it (or just hopeful) – Venter would be a good addition – all she’s doing is sitting on the bench for Firebirds – and is a good player (when she gets more than a 2 min cameo every now and then)
