in reply to: 2022 Test Series – Australia v England (Oct/Nov) #1352157
It’s so funny how that game was pretty average netball but also an iconic match?
Donnell Wallam with Liz Watson will be the key to Australia winning World Cup (as a kiwi supporter, that combo scares me). Monumental for Wallam and felt like a Disney moment.
Fadoju on the other hand was a star! I don’t follow VNSL but I was so impressed with her. She’s shorter than your average GK but really makes up for it with her limbs and elevation. England have finally found their replacement for Geva. Also, would have loved to see the long limbs of Guscoth infront of her. Attacking end for and mid court for England has work to do. Expect Thrilby to trial some combinations.

I think this is a poorly handled situation. I think this may have all been avoided if Gina or her company’s representatives had come out and apologised for what was said by her racist father(whom the company is named still after).
I know things were said many years ago, but they evidently still cause lots of pain and trauma for indigenous people. This isn’t about being woke, but really just acknowledging and condemning past actions and words. Something Australia has done poorly.
in reply to: 2022 Constellation Cup (Oct) #1351631Also Karaka and Johnson have a ver underrated connection
in reply to: 2022 Constellation Cup (Oct) #1351628Bruce and Weston are so dirty in the defence end. Not loving it
in reply to: 2022 Constellation Cup (Oct) #1351445I thought Toeava was MVP for me. We all know Toeava has vision and flair, but I thought she kept great control and patience today. Having a tall C in Heffernan was handy for an outlet pass with the big Australian hands over.
Price is a rugged player, but she’s effective until she gets whistled out of the game. Price definitely over Moloney for that C bib atm.

in reply to: 2022 Constellation Cup (Oct) #1351133What a wholesome performance from the Ferns! Love how the competition for positions internally is growing… this is the most depth we’ve seen in NZ for a while.
The commentators keep saying the ferns need to only win 2 to retain the cup- is that true? Is it not down to goal difference at that stage?
Um. Hve i cracked it…
Lightning need a new shooter – and Maria Folau is in QLD looking fit as hell at the gym (on insta).
She would be the most lethal weapon and go out with bang.
in reply to: Gretel Bueta pregnant #1350813Amazing for Grets and family!
But the whole Australian shooting end up revolves around Gretel at GS or GA… so this surely puts a spanner in the works.
in reply to: 2022 Australian Netball Championships (Aug) #1349830It’s interesting that Fawns hasn’t been used much for the Swifts and she’s got a contract next year.
Very exciting to see Nyah Allen play and have been impressed with the Collingwood defenders.Lucy Austin is a force to be reckoned with! She’s going to be unstoppable one day…
in reply to: 2022 Australian Netball Championships (Aug) #1349825It’s absurd they didn’t have this comp before the SSN signing period…
in reply to: Kylee Byrne Leaves Lightning #1349664I’m bad at keeping upto date with the UK league but is Tamsin Greenway available???
She seems ready to take the next big step in her coaching career
in reply to: 2022 COMMONWEALTH GAMES FINALS – Day 10 (Aug 7) #1349349I laugh at all those that were comparing the SF performance at this Comm Games compared to 2018. Very different side, very different journey and very different culture
