This English team have some real selection dilemnas ahead and probably have the strongest bench out there. I think that’s going to give them the real edge at Comm Games. They’re only weakness seems to be WA backup at present

I think a Midcourt of Price, Brazill and Watson is going to start. You have Price and Brazill as C options – the fourth test of the 2019 CC series really showed Brazill’s leadership and control. Hadley as utility player that can slip in any of the three positions needed is perfect.

Although Proud is the better utility option, I think Hadleys experience in the Diamonds and connections will be very useful in this series with so many new faces coming in the squad.

Has Vimbela already signed in VNSL? Guscoth if she’s interested in coming back to Aus would be very valuable? Quashie ready for the big move?

Not sure if there’s local talent upto the SSN level as a starting GK

I actually think Jess Thrilby has made some very smart choices in this game – that second half to comeback, must have had some stern words. Has she out coached DNT or is it just a better bench/injury free?

Jury and Burger combination complimenting each other very well. Burger is getting that ball lifted and Jury is there to grab it.

Kersten a bit hesitant at times, but working her way into this game. Much better game from her.

Maia and TPSR protecting space for each other very well. Very impressive game from them both.

Lovely game from TP tonight. She’s really following DNT instructions and gameplan

Geva Mentor debuted for England in 2001 Tiana was born in 2001 and Grace in 2002.

Isn’t that just such an amazing fact and testament to the years of experience and form Geva has had? Amazing.

The SF really lacked leadership and control in that third quarter when Saunders came off. Tough day for Nweke, but this will be good for her. I’d love to see Nweke with Crampton and maybe Metaurau again.

Wilson definitely the stronger GS option.

Toeava does not perform well at this stage. Crampton and Saunders are the better WA options

Welcome to the big stage Nweke. She’s being schooled by Mentor haha; Great learning for her

Guscoth is hands down the best player on court at the moment; she’s getting so much hand to ball and gathering it up too

Early days – but TP and Metaurau not gelling yet. Also Kersten is really flat for me – she’s taking away space and not presenting strongly. I dont see what NT sees in her..
