I think Barnett did an excellent job at supporting RBD
I think they will be amazing, lacked a defender that could play both GD & GK so this is a good team
I watched Ash Barnett at the 2023 ANC champs, she was a standout – really hungry for the ball
It is, however both Isabelle and Ash only 21 and both have amazing talent, maybe they are looking for long term development
They have signed Isabelle Shearer as their GK, Ervin is contracted with Lightning till 2026

After watching their Team Girls Cup game against Swifts, Im wondering how they didnt pick her shes better than all bar RBD
I just did a goggle search on her, she has been in both Victorian and Queensland State teams so maybe her family did some moving..
I cant believe they havent she was a stand out to me at ANC. I havent seen her play in Victoria but I watched her in QLD in the Saphire Series and she would have to be the best defender there by a long shot.

They should have signed Ash Barnett she was a star at ANC and has the X Factor
