Read she’s pregnant again and will miss FB season and NWC.
in reply to: 2023 QUAD SERIES (Jan) – SA/Aus/NZ/Eng #1354078Yeah DNT made changes in games when she shouldn’t have and didn’t make changes when she needed to. I like what she brings as a coach but like others have been more ??? against her more recently. But I too would like to eat my words come NWC.
Not sure who said it a while back on a feed about International games getting tiring to watch. I’m kinda in the same base as I think we see too much international netball nowadays. Yes it’s great to spread and develop the game but used to be more exciting come the main events and the teams hadn’t played each other a million times that year or the lead up year.
In terms of maybe YMD being the next SF coach coming up idk if the board would go that direction, would she want to implement a man on man defence?? Which I would had to see the SF try and go down that route again.
I think most of the SF had pretty average games by their own standards but with more match play through another season of netball they should be fine.
Still big question for after NWC is who is the SF next GA. If Ekenasio retires and TPSR who’s the next one up…. def not Wilson but then who??

in reply to: 2023 Test Series – Eng v Jam (Jan) #1353540Did Jamaica make any changes in 4th quarter? 24-5 is a massive ? Compared to the rest of the match.
Chances of Bueta back with FBirds next season as shes under contract or will she still take time away from the game after her devastating news?
in reply to: 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series #1352715in reply to: 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series #1352707As a spectator viewing Fast5 is meant to be entertaining including all those unique attributes that come with the shortened game, it has been boring. Aussie def had players who could hit those big shots but decided to play it safe and get a new Trophy.
Probably the worst tournament to date if entertainment value and level of netball played and that’s my opinion.
Once again I’d like to see the difference from past years with 3s attempted and also 3s made.
in reply to: 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series #1352688If aussie win and have only attempted 1 3pt shot ( in the 1st round) I’m gonna feel a bit miffed.
in reply to: 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series #1352661Gonna have to do something to pull in some of the bigger names for next year and the year after. Probably the timing of the con cup and England aussie series didn’t help. Even though NZ were favourites on paper butthey weren’t a great fast5 team. Aussie still played normal netball so killed all the fast5 vibe from their team. England got lucky with yesterday’s wins with the random 6 pointer at the end of both matches. South Africa have been hit and miss and tbh I didn’t know any of their players. Uganda the new comers but again stuck to their normal game style. Jamaica really havent done anything great.
in reply to: 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series #1352593Glad im not the only one thinking that lol
A lot of safe plays. Go the 1s and 2s. It be interesting to see what the 3/6 pt attempts to other years. That last round other than NZ 8 attempts there was only 6 attempts that whole round. Aussie and Uganda went for none.
Maybe im just waiting for the next Tutaia to be bombing them whenever she felt like it hahaha
in reply to: 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series #1352581Okay thanks Ian.
Overall what ive watched its been just a bit lacklustre, doesnt have the same fast5 vibe. Anyone else get that feeling?
Or maybe ive just watched too much netball the last few weeks lol- This reply was modified 3 months ago by Nate.
