in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 10 #1342519
Fabulous win Stars. My faith is reinstalled with Maia. She weathered the storm and sunk some beauty long bombs. Stars defence was equally as good as Pulse. I can’t take my eyes off Temu, she reminds me of Tilly in Giants. Just goes for everything.
Pulse weren’t bad at all. Just those small 1% that cost the game. I couldn’t finish my dinner because I was so excited lol. Great game.
in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 10 #1342487Way to go Tactix and Poi you little beauty!! I swear Samon and TP were doing everything in their power to lose lol.
in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 10 #1342369I must say all shooters put on a good display today. Except probably the Mystics GAs. Maia and Jamie, Meels and Mes, Nweke, TP and Bird. Noeline asked for the Silverferns to stand up, and they sure did today.
Anyone notice Winders nearly gets a caution every game? Lol.
Nweke did her ankle very badly. Looked horrible on the replay. Poi was exceptional, did all she could to get her team over the line. Samon Samon has been a liability lately. Definitely need to explore Poi more in WA. Burger had a great game too.
in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 9 #1342088Well done Pulse! Love a good come back! Dunn for CWGs! Why not. Not sure Eke is up for it unfortunately. Not really liking some of Baileys stats either. Tiana is going missing at times, Maia isnt herself at all. Nweke isn’t ready. Is Maria and Irene available? 😂
Ftness seemed to beat Steel. All of a sudden the contesting (especially Renae) turned into bashing or chasing bibs. After playing 3 good quarters, it all caught up on them.
in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 9 #1342081Very feisty game I love it! Still keeping the skill level high and utter grit for every ball. Great game!
in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 8 #1341358Yes agree with everyone. Only the best will go. Obviously being a Nweke fan, even she has work ons to do and I agree isn’t ready for such a pinnacle event. It’s such a shame covid played such huge role in NZ development internationally. But I’m glad that we actually do have a talent pool to choose from. I do trust that Noeline will squeeze the life out of them before Comm Games lol.
I think it will be Maia, Mes, Eke and Tiana. Just the versatility within this bunch and the interchanges to swing a game could be detrimental for semis and the big guns.
Midcourt is Saunders and probably Crampton. Can’t name anyone else tbh. Winders and Kersten I have never been big fans of, but I know Noels likes them. Poi, Heffernen, Earle, Mila, Gordan all Knocking at the door.
Jury, Sulu, Karaka and Burger. All others may get their chance at Fast 5. Would love to see Kristiana, Styth, Burley maybe Temu brought in for this.
in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 6 #1340256Well done Steel! I knew you had it in you. Congrats Saunders on 150 games!
Really loving these Heffernen sisters. Things just seem to flow with these girls.
in reply to: 2022 ANZP ROUND 6 #1340215Got a feeling Steel will get up for this game. They will do it for Saunders. The home crowd will bring them home surely.
in reply to: 2022 QUAD SERIES (Jan) – Eng/Aus/NZ/SA #1335631Just resubscribed to sky sports now app, after being what seems like a very long netball break. Can’t wait for the Quad Series!!!
Sunday morning cups of tea at 5:15am sounds lovely. Just hoping for some good close games with minimal errors from the Silver Ferns.
England look strong even without Jo. Australia look equally strong, where as SA and NZ are trying new talents which is good for the long game. Eke and Watson obviously leave a massive hole in the team, but it’s better than seeing the same old faces like we have in the past. Then losing even with our star studded line ups.
Bring on the games!

in reply to: 2021 Cadbury Netball Series – NZ v Eng (Sept) #1332940What a hectic style of game played by both teams. They’re going to nackered by the end of it.
Just when I think Roses are making a comeback, some how they lose possession in those closing stages everytime.
I quite like TP in GS. Another moving circle is born in a matter of one half of a game. Yes, a few turnovers and missed shots. But the general play is outstanding against a heavy defence!
I never saw what was the buzz with Lewis. I see it now. Just clever smart play in front. She has a very unique shooting style, quite flat.
I think both teams defensively are great. Good game so far.
in reply to: 2021 Cadbury Netball Series – NZ v Eng (Sept) #1332661Congrats Silverferns!! The changes, structure and transitions were spot on.
Metuarau easy MVP! Have to say that she definitely fatigued towards the end, but soldiered on! So proud of her. Welcome to the big leagues!
Crampton played her worst ever game I have seen. Kersten not far behind. Saunders you bloody beauty! Definitely the difference for us on attack. Especially when everyone else was lacking. Maia was so strong and I’m so happy for her. She had a good come back game from her very rough season end.
Please can Burger never leave the court! She combined well with both Jury. Towards the end Sulu and Burger started to get in sync and boy it was beautiful to watch.
Noeline, you are just a master, guru, need a eifel tower sized statue etc… If that’s how they perform with 3 days training, 2 for some. Be very aware world!
in reply to: 2021 Cadbury Netball Series – NZ v Eng (Sept) #1332649Don’t really like Jury in GD. But she did okay, but just on attack slightly lacked the drive. Our attack is really steady against this rangy defence. Messy at times, but that same momentum from CC. Amazing work Noeline.
England are hot on our tail. Playing some really nice netball as well. Fisher is definitely a better option in GS. I thought Cobden had a good strangle hold on Crampton.
in reply to: 2021 Cadbury Netball Series – NZ v Eng (Sept) #1332635Good game to watch. It feels like England could take the game from here with all the momentum towards the end.
Crampton with 4 turnovers so far, very uncharacteristic. Perhaps captaincy blues? Hope she can get the nerves out of the way now.
Jury a bit behind the play by a second. Burger the leader down there with the energetic Gordan running a muck.
Sammy surprised me so much! Needs to watch out for Serena, but better than I expected. Prefer her in WD.
Metuarau! 👏👏👏 Amazing debut so far! Nice combo with Maia, bit of a scratchy start, but came right.
in reply to: 2022 SSN rumoured signings/speculation #1331571Why would any of them leave? None of them will get paid like they do in the SSN. The only reason I see them leaving is because they didn’t get offered a contract.
I assume many will go home for the off season, international duties, rest, family etc… But I’m sure all of them will be back next year.
in reply to: Silver Ferns’ new captain is… #1331542Congrats Crampton. Good choice, level head. She will lead well I think. Especially with Sulu and the ANZ captains as well. Plus Eke, Watson and Langman in the background. Now that’s a support system.
