Wow what a well written netty history! My biggest heartbreaks were 1999 WC when Loffaghen missed that shot right under the goal, they had been up by 7 most of the game… and of course recently 2023 when the Singapore player ran into Grace i put my head into my hands
in reply to: 2024 CONSTELLATION CUP – AUS v NZ (October) #1380847ah the couch critics, dont ever underestimate the Dame that knows the game… but honestly i thought the SF would do well if they even won 1 game against the worlds best so ill eat my words there.
They talk about world class players and having one at each end, Nweke, Jackson and Gordon have proved that, not saying the others didnt play well they all stood up 🙂
No babies or injuries for any of them please LOL
in reply to: 2024 CONSTELLATION CUP – AUS v NZ (October) #1380648i said to friends the other week i would be happy if we won one game, guess like everyone else they have silenced the haters! Im fairly confident for a win on Sunday and cant wait to watch. That extra time sounds very exhausting i hope they dont need to use it!

in reply to: 2024 CONSTELLATION CUP – AUS v NZ (October) #1380534after the UK performance i was a bit hesitant to watch but whatever the Dame said to them they must of taken it on board, i havent seen her smile like that in a while.
Gordon had Langman vibes long may it continue, even as a Poi fan i screwed up my face at her as WA but like the commentators said that was her best game in the black dress, same for Heffernan. Bruce had little impact on NwekeThe aussies will no doubt come back fighting but i really do hope the girls take the cup they need some silverwear after the last couple of years…

certainly frustrating to watch and id hate to be Noeline right now because what else can be done? People can bang on about a new coach but will that really solve anything? Coaches dont break, get held balls and throw stupid passes. Same goes for lowering fitness standards, id love to know what the standards are for the Aussie and UK teams for example
in reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378968with the Stars signing Charlie Bell is that meaning Wilson will be out at GA?
Saunders is working on her injuries apparently and getting to her age i doubt we will see her again? but stranger things have happened.
the tactix mid court is a bit of a mixed bag… i think it would help if Watson moved out to GD and Burger to WD to get the ball through the court easier but hey im no coach lolin reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378762@thunder123 also concerned about Tactix midcourt… i think back to 2023 when it seemed their mid court let them down and nothing worked. They almost need a Gordon or Heffernan but see they both staying where they are
in reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378706@jinxibo Jess Allen hasnt been offered anything in the ANZ, a friend was listening to her conversation at a cafe a couple of weeks back, shes a full on netball stalker
in reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378506@mcleod did Brice leave halfway through the season with no comment? They always hold out such big hope for these import players and most of the time they are on the bench or fail to impress, in saying that i exclude Fisher and Fowler.
@nate im also not a fan of the silverferns playing the men, its a completely different game, the series was a bit un-inspiringin reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378474@silverferns1 wasnt the cabbury series against the men just during the covid times and international teams werent willing to travel? cancellation of the con cup and quad series a couple of times?
in reply to: 2025 ANZ PREMIERSHIP #1378473as a tactix fan it makes me very happy Martina has signed… however they are going to need a good midcourt also with Poi gone, Pedersen not confirmed and she was supposed to retire 2 seasons ago.
how come they arent doing the Quad Series in 2025? I enjoyed a bit of netty after Christmas, always seemed like a good competition but guess a bit much for players not getting a break
in reply to: 2024 ANZP GRAND FINAL – PULSE v MYSTICS #1377550that could of been either teams game and had to be one of the tightest ones ive seen since i started watching ANZ, Jackson did very well on Nweke, poor Walmsley shouldnt she let her team down, it was either going to be her to win it or that rebound from Style
the mention in the interview with Tia afterwards that this is the last time the team will play together, whos going where? is there any truth in Nweke going to SSN?
in reply to: 2024 ANZP ROUND 15 #1376845@mcleod also a tactix die hard fan, i was excited when Dunn moved from the pulse to the tactix but her play has been a bit underwhelming, i often wondered if she lost her passion to play netball sometimes
in reply to: 2024 ANZP ROUND 15 #1376799@maryann maybe a shake up in the Tactix and steel teams next year with new coaches, wonder if the players loyalty was with the franchises or the coaches
