I feel like GA is becoming the most important position on court for every country. It seems like the position countries are least likely to risk a change in. Austin, Housby and Eke basically played every minute of the recent games there and it was noticeable when they were off

Fever usually have a defence-heavy team from memory. In 2023 they had Bruce, Ellis, Jenner and Aryang and before Jenner, there was Francis-Bayman. They never really rotated this well, but Dan Ryan has been much better at rotations this year so he might have turned over a new leaf

Graham wasn’t even on my radar for Tbirds. 5 shooters doesn’t make sense to me unless they’re going to elevate a true middie as their 11th player and use that system more regularly. If Williams is going to be the 2IC in WA, it would have made more sense to elevate Sophie Casey a C/WD for more C coverage. Perhaps they’re planning ahead for 2026 when Aitken-George is likely to have retired, who knows

Personally I’d prefer Tbirds began developing another WA instead of bringing someone in who’s nearing the end of their career. I think their current midcourt have enough experience now to carry someone fresh and help them grow

I think LGB is a good replacement for either of them but not the right fit when you already have both Proud and Hadley. I think they’re all very similar. Maybe they’d pick her as their 11th?

Heffernan would be a great pick up by Swifts I think. She’s one of my favourites for Ferns. Great height and speed and relatively clean from memory which Swifts need in the defensive end. Plus a good defensive C option they don’t really have right now

Orr is a C/WA and it looked like Williams was giving WA a go towards the end of the season so I think Tbirds would still be well covered in that position
