Umpires were sending off Ioane (WD) for dangerous contact although it was Mason (GD) who was at fault. Ioane wasn’t smart enough in the moment to identify that the team would have been better off with her going off (WD) than Mason (GD) going off, and told the umpire that it wasn’t her and then the Umpires sent off Mason (GD).

great, not another “new, refreshing, and different (plan) from previous years” – we all know how the last one worked out…

I would’ve preferred to see Vicki Wilson appointed as the new head coach. But can see the risks of that in that she hasn’t really been tested in that head coach environment before.

TB, I saw a comment on X saying some Pacifica players struggle because of their genetics. Perhaps Noeline needs to reevaluate the requirements and it’s potentially doing more harm than good to the ferns because fitness isn’t the reason they are losing anymore. Plus the fitness standard shouldn’t be a must, there’s no way in the world (with all due respect) Wallam would pass the Ferns fitness requirements. But see how it doesn’t affect the Diamonds or her own performance! Neither would Vilimaina Davu and she was a star at GK. Peta doesn’t need to be as fit as other WA. She does half the work as them because she simply doesn’t need to with her connection with Grace.

I hope NZ has negotiated with England to bring an experienced team with a minimum test cap this time. I hope Housby will turn up, as she always opts not to. It’s always a letdown when England and Jamaica bring their B sides to NZ, unlike the Aussies who ALWAYS bring their strongest team.

Can the ANZP please implement the super shot for this season pls? Firebirds v Tactix was far more interesting to watch due to the super shot than the snore-fest of the Pulse v Stars blow-out score game. Rather watch a netball game whose score has been blown out due to super shots rather than it being blown out due to close-to-the-hoop, 1-point shots.
