It feels like Fever have been terrible on transition today- in reality they have an 86% gain to goal rate but to me it feels like about 70.

Fever timeout changes- Simmons off, Anstiss in C, Jenner WD. Good changes for mine, Simmons was becoming expensive and was often in the same space as ATN. Also brings extra defensive pressure that is desperately needed.
Vixens are solid all over the court with only 2 turnovers so far (or maybe 3- Champion Data is being odd).

Fever have been winning courtesy of their strong starts lately- have Vixens found the way to shut them down?

I didn’t know that Maryann, devastating and might explain the drop in form. Such a shame, she’s been playing so freely.

A rare insight into Ian’s alignments! Only watched a little bit of the game but Metuarau and Jury looked good while Mes seemed to be struggling a bit. Stats say Edgecombe did ok in centre!

You’re right D-fencr, she’s come a long way since a horror outing against Geva last year. Can’t remember how she went against Fadoju last year in the England series- stats don’t say a whole lot but it looks like they both did pretty well?

Can’t say I do TB! I am leaning towards Garbin too as long as her mental state is strong and she can keep her confidence. Wallam is in great form but seems to struggle against international GKs whereas Garbin seems to thrive against anybody who hasn’t played against her in GA. So glad I’m not a selector!

Thanks Ian, remember this is inclusion round 😉 (that was so cringy lol)
Back onto the netball, Jovic had a cracker- 0 turnovers in 60 minutes of netball! Also I do want to praise Petty for her composure when she’s brought in during a tense part of the game. I also thought RBD killed it today, even though Garbin was having a better day there was still always a lot of pressure on her.

What is it about the Giants that throws top teams off? Fever have struggled against them for years, Tbirds have forgotten how to feed and Vixens only had a very narrow win this year.

Tayla Williams gives away so many turnovers- if she can cut that down she’ll be an unstoppable next-gen Diamond.
Clever tip off Dwan’s leg from Moore!

Moore is doing a good job of disrupting the Tbirds attack- although to be fair the Tbirds attack are disrupting themselves with their lack of leads.

Great numbers for Donnell! I also thought RBD was amazing tonight and a lot of players had great individual games that didn’t necessarily translate into team performance.

Is there an NS team of the week for round 7? There would be some controversial positions!

Veve needed a contract as soon as she came back after becoming a mum. Absolute weapon.
Unfortunate for Gardner, she was impressive. What happens if Dunkley isn’t firing? Stower to WA?
