in reply to: 2024 SSN SIGNING AND TEAM NEWS #1364680Apparently Rudi Ellis is not staying at Fever next year. Victorian born & bred so I assume she will seek out a contract at SEN.
in reply to: 2023 SSN ROUND 6 #1358044Ash Braz is just so far off her best this year. Her World Cup spot is surely seriously on the line
in reply to: Netball Scoop World’s Best Netballer 2022 #1353379Agree! Bueta best player for sure in 2022. Bold to have Fadoju in the top 6 but from what we saw in the England v Aus series I think she deserves to be there.
Probably wouldn’t have given Shaquanda Greene-Noel a vote but that’s just me.
I read on Twitter that Veve said no to Lightning contract. I find that hard to believe but interesting if true….
Agree museboy I think that will be the team too.
in reply to: 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series #1352716My two cents….
Jamaica were diabolical. In fact, that 5vs6 game against Uganda was just played at such a terrible standard. INF need to send some sort of message to Jamaica to stop sending such sub-par teams to international test series and tournaments. If they can’t field competitive teams they shouldn’t be given a spot. Was great to see Romelda back though, she was a bit off the pace but looking forward to seeing how she progresses over the next few months and with the Swifts in 2023.
England were a joy to watch. Elle McDonald and Paige Reed were two standouts for me. Super impressed with the depth England are building.
NZ to me were the 2nd best team there. I still don’t understand how South Africa beat NZ.
Glad the Aussies got the win. Briony had the right idea with simple 1point netball, it can be boring but its easily the most effective scoring wise. Garbin was impressive all tournament and was great to see Jenner and Hinchliffe back at their best.
in reply to: 2022 Test Series – Australia v England (Oct/Nov) #1351965Where was the announcement that Hadley will be captain?
in reply to: 2022 Constellation Cup (Oct) #1351701Nothing wrong with the physicality of that game. There has been way worse in some of the recent SSN matches.
The players are SO much stronger physically than they have ever been – so I don’t know how people expect netball to remain the same? Physicality is part of the game’s growth and we need to grow with it!
in reply to: 2022 Constellation Cup (Oct) #1350930Crampton will get her spot back. No one else can play the type of possession netball game she does. She has an incredibly low error rate for a player that handles the ball as much as she does.
Crampton, Souness, Heffernan will be the 3, plus one of either Gordon/MRB.
in reply to: 2022 Australian Netball Championships (Aug) #1349871Yep same knee
in reply to: 2022 Cadbury Series #1347172Whitney bloody Souness unreal! Two massive intercepts!
in reply to: 2022 Cadbury Series #1347131Heffernan at C didn’t do it for me. We don’t need her there when we have Saunders and Souness playing so well in the middle
Would have loved fever to sign Gabi Sinclair. If something happened to Fowler, a Glasgow/Sinclair circle is way more potent than a Glasgow/Cosh circle.
