So, the voice of dislike from a single player is potentially going to sink a whole industry, in the process decimating her playing partners livelihoods all because historical wrongs?
If you did not want the money, go do something else.
The Diamonds deserve to come back to the real world.
Perhaps reverting to having to hold down a job and play netball will tone down their perceived self importance.

NWeke is potentially the ferns’ biggest weapon and if a team is built around her, they will be very difficult to beat.

Their approach just seems to be pole’s apart

“ I actually think since the Stars did their Haka, they haven’t been the same. They lost by 13 goals to the Pulse that day, got lucky to beat the Tactix. After rd 11, they still had a good buffer over the Steel and Tactix. But it just ended so quick.”
You know, that thought about  the Hakka, crossed my mind as well…….. :negative:

And awaiting Liz Watson’s return, who would be captain?

CBass does not handle tough love and/or not being #1 very well.
Not what I would call an inspirational off-the-bench team player.

What CBass was able to achieve in the past was stellar, but that was a couple of seasons ago and the game has evolved. In today’s game a shooter is expected to be more proficient from a little further out than standing right beside the post.
I honestly think she is struggling with her fitness levels as well.

                        Sadly, these days, she is.

CBass is a one trick pony.
The game has progressed beyond her capabilities.

IMHO Metuarau has been pumped up by the media.
Everyone loves a fairy tale mother/daughter story, but she is not nearly as relaxed and competent as Williams….

Harrison deserves a spot in “my” squad.
As for Toeava, she does as well, essentially seen in the light of the devastating partnership she has developed with NWEKE.
You can pick whomever you want, I stick with my choices :good:

I am planning a double attacking strategy with the team I picked.
                                (NWeke,Wilson,Shelby-Rickit,Williams;Toeava,Crampton,Saunders,Winders;Fitzpatrick,Burger,Watson,Harrison)
                                Plan A:
                                Wilson,Williams,Crampton,Saunders,Winders,Fitzpatrick,Watson
                                Bench:NWeke,Shelby-Rickit,Toeava,Burger,Harrison
                                Plan B:
                                NWeke,S-R,Toeava,Saunders,Burger,Fitzpatrick,Wilson
                                Bench:Wilson,Williams,Crampton,Winders,Harrison

NWeke and Toeava must on court as a pairing, as together they are magical

Watson is the front runner and I have listened to her post game interviews. Too many “ onwards and upwards” type of non analytical fan please hollow statements.
Then there is Sulu. A keen netball mind that puts her finger on the problem and comes across as a true leader.
Maia may be young, but tough and a pleasure to listen to. Humble, but strong and precise.
Gina I have not taken much notice of. Another factor is that there are a few players that could relegate her to the bench, depending on the game plan.
