Mcleod and Maryann raised excellent points: Brigit Hearn steered Netball Mainland to the iceberg at full speed. She jumped off the sinking ship last year. Aside from the Tactix, the people involved in community netball deserved better than what Hearn dished out. Before the netball zoning restructures, the Tactix went through a laundry cycle worth of CEOs.
They may not have sold out every home game, but the Flames attracted better crowd attendances than the Tactix. Adjusting for inflation, It was cheaper to buy tickets to Flame home games. The Flames played a lot fewer home games than the Tactix. Unfortunately, the Flames crossed the bridge into the Tactix Chernobyl zone too long ago.
Perhaps the Stars are better placed than the Mystics to weather the storm. The Stars resemble the Steel, they are community-focused and attract good crowds at a modest size venue.

Tactixsupporter, short of winning the ANP, the Tactix haven’t received the credit they deserve for their turnout. Perhaps, a four thousand seat indoor multiple purpose stadium in the Christchurch CBD is in order for one of the governments post-pandemic infrastructure projects.
Just thinking about the Tactix’s costs for hosting home games at the Horncastle Arena makes me shudder.xpert11ParticipantApril 4, 2020 at 5:25 pmPost count: 16
Marianne Delaney-Hoshek has my respect for turning a team of rabble into a team with rising stars. One might say, the current Tactix player group and coaches is the solution, not the problems with their past woes. (To borrow from Ronald Reagan).
Maryann, One of the problem the Tactix have contended with is the lack of suitable venues in Christchurch. The Horncastle Arena’s seating arrangement is too large for the team’s home games.xpert11ParticipantMarch 31, 2020 at 10:51 pmPost count: 16xpert11ParticipantMarch 31, 2020 at 4:31 pmPost count: 16xpert11ParticipantMarch 31, 2020 at 4:24 pmPost count: 16xpert11ParticipantMarch 31, 2020 at 3:48 pmPost count: 16
If Radio Sport is resurrected, who knows? Excluding colour commentators, they may no re-hire Delvin and others to save money.xpert11ParticipantMarch 31, 2020 at 3:32 pmPost count: 16xpert11ParticipantMarch 31, 2020 at 3:23 pmPost count: 16
Radio Sport may return from the ashes, but first sports leagues have to resume in NZ and worldwide. In what form the ANZ Premiership and Beko League return is another can of worms.xpert11ParticipantMarch 29, 2020 at 8:30 pmPost count: 16xpert11ParticipantMarch 29, 2020 at 8:01 pmPost count: 16xpert11ParticipantFebruary 11, 2020 at 7:28 amPost count: 16
Lisa’s replacement in the head Diamonds coaching role will face issues as her predecessor. The SSN’s free for all import rule is key to the competition’s rise. However, the best netball competition in the world isn’t synonymous with producing future Diamond players.xpert11ParticipantJanuary 27, 2020 at 11:15 amPost count: 16
