      The game was even until MRB went down. Shes been a great loss for Stars.

        Magic edged further in front in that quarter. They’ve won each Q so far and appear headed for a comfortable victory.

              I’m sorry but why are the bloody umpires not stopping the game, when a major injury happens.
              Don’t just wait for the farting around in the circle, to wait for the goal to be scored.
              And is this court up to standard.

                Oh no, now Ali Wilshier has gone down. This looks like another bad knee injury. As with Mila, we hope for the best.

                  I don’t believe this court is up to standard. It’s the same court Georgia Heffernan did her ACL on, and then Jen O’Connell did hers a week later. Back when this stadium was used as the covid hub in 2020.

                    Eerie- two buckling left knees to C players.
                    Really hope neither one is as bad as it looked. Wilshier had to be wheeled off, at least MRB could sort of hop.
                    Fingers crossed both players and teams pull up okay.

                          Stars with a good last Q. They twice had a chance to close the gap to just 3 but both times came up short. Tui was strong for Magic.

                            Meels slipped, Mikaere hobbeled off. Coaching staff from both teams were having a good chat at games end, looking at the court.

                              Stars are still without a win in 2024, but that is their 6th close loss and their 6th bonus point, which means they draw level with Steel on the ladder. Magic close to within 2 points of 3rd placed Mystics.

                                Bonus points are annoying. If you lose, you lose and shouldn’t be rewarded with consolation points.

                                  Quite an enjoyable game to watch despite the disappointing injury vibes. Truly wishing both players quick returns before the end of season.
