          Hoping they have some bigger guns to sign in the midcourt.

          Hopefully Khayne gets a gig somewhere – a promising WD/GD that is hungry for the ball. I would have thought she was a better prospect than the Aussie the Steel signed.

                    I’m thinking Wilson will play GS/GA. Not sure where Malesala will go. Training partner? Wilson is Noel’s backup GA.

                          Well the Stars needed to do something different. However boggling that Malesala goes from Ferns debut to being dropped from the ANZP altogether, unless the injuries are worse than first thought.

                            Malesala posted this on instagram 6 days ago “I’ve been awarded the Prime Ministers Scholarship to complete my Professional Legal Studies so I can be admitted to the bar and become a practising Lawyer. Officially one step closer to legally arguing for a living”

                            so maybe she’s chosen to take the year off to focus on that (and would also explain the not making the SF trials)

                                I found it very strange that Maia Wilson had not signed yet. I wonder if this is the reason 🤷‍♂️
                                Charlie Bell is a great pickup for the Stars. Her and Faulkner should make a great combination. If Wilson signs, they’ll have 3 strong options.

                                  Bell is a good pickup, IMO. She didn’t exactly shine when she played ANZ last season. Have to admit some of it was due to poor feeding, something I believe Temepara will fix.

                                  Strangely out of Wilson, Malesala and Faulkner, it looks like the best feeding option is going to miss out.
                                  Malesala has the most creative netball brain of the trio.
