I’ll comment on the NZ game, Stars really impressive 1st Q. Maia 13/13. Some long range goals, worth just the normal 1 point.
1/4 time: Stars well on top 16-7. Wilson dominating.
Good first half.
Wilson is playing some great netball, but she is pushing off a lot and should be getting called. She won’t get away with that at international level.Don’t understand how Hume is a starting GA. Beautiful movement but she isnt a shooter.
1/2 time: Stars 26-19
Wilson 21/21 (100%)
Hume 5/8 (63%)Halpenny 9/9 (100%)
McCollin 10/10 (100%)Why is Saunders off?
Spoke too soon. Hume on fire
Stars up 38-30 at 3/4 time, and they’ve extended that to 46-34. They have all the answers at this stage. Maia Wilson dominating with 37/37.
Fantastic shooting from Maia Wilson, and most from mid-long range. Her game has improved so much in a short time.
Not to mention her fitness and body shape.Full time: Stars 50-43
Stars:
Wilson 39/39 (100%)
Hume 11/15 (73%)Steel:
Halpenny 26/29 (90%)
McCollin 17/18 (94%)
Pelasio 0/1 (0%)Assists: Reuela-Buchanan 26
Gains: Burley, Heffernan 6MVP: Wilson
Wilson deserved MVP but Reuela-Buchanan was great

Impressive shooting stats from Wilson. She’s definitely stamped her name as the starter for the Ferns.
The 100% club is growing and it’s really good to see! Oh how our shooters have improved so much this year! Dunn, Eke, Bird and Maia now.
