      With the commencement of the 2023 ANZP season starting on Saturday, what are everyone’s thoughts on the season. Bold predictions, starting 7s, who can play themselves into WC side?

      4-Pulse
      5-Steel
      6-Stars

      Be interesting to see how Pulse play Souness and Gordon. Does Dame Noleen have any say and Pulse end up playing Souness in C. In preseason she was predominantly WA

        1 – Tactix
        2 – Mystics
        3/4 – Magic/Pulse (really not sure on these two – dependent on Pulse’s lineup)
        5 – Steel
        6 – Stars

        I think Souness is marginally better at WA than Gordon (who is still learning the position), and Gordon is better at C than Souness – seeing Winders at WA in preseason she might throw her hat back in the ring as now being able to cover all three positions – Magic have a dedicated WA this year so that should hopefully help them

          I’d like to see Dunn push for a WC spot, along with Poi. The form of Maia Wilson has dropped a lot. The excitement for Souness at C needs to stop. Should be a interesting comp. But I do expect some big margins at times

              I’m backing Georgia Heffernan and Poi for a big year but maybe not quite WC. SO excited to see Watson, Burger, Dunn and their stacked midcourt all in one team!

                    i think it will be de ja voo of 2021 with a close Tactix and Mystics final

                    After that:

                    The stars will struggle with their defense pressure now no Harrison, the magic seemed to have made no changes and always look good on paper but fail to deliver every year, the steel will struggle also with no Fisher
