I think you may need to do some more research before making comments like that about KHW.
She worked for the Adelaide crows for much of her senior playing career and has very good insight into sports management and the rights of players. My understanding is she was a big advocate for establishing a proper players union for netball so the players were protected for things like injuries and lost time due to the sport, let alone getting them some form of income.
It was around 2004 when the players association as we know it was forme and Liz Ellis met with Bill Shorten and he played a huge role in establishing what there is now and KHW brought her past experience with the crows into the mix. Liz Ellis was actually threatened by NA that should she proceed with what was happening at the time, she would be stripped or her captaincy. You can see why NA wouldn’t want someone like KHW around if she was trying to enact this sort of change to BENEFIT THE PLAYERS.
I may have some of those details a little wrong (it was a while ago after all!) but I think it’s important that any information that paints past players negatively when they are simply
committed to their legacy and leaving the game in a better place than it was when they were playing, is accurate and mot simply he said/she said depending on what you think of the matter. NA has a long history of mismanagement and poor decision making and it has really caught up with them in the past few years.
