First takeaways from the draw…

WOW that sure is condensed.

An extra FTA game on weekends including Sat double headers. But almost all midweek games only on the app.

Swifts and Giants play their first 3 games in the first 2 rounds, then get round 3 off as they head to Qld.

Thunderbirds say they have 2 home games locked in for the next phase of the fixture, all things going well. I assume the latter half of the season have a number of games played in SA and WA, if they both have Covid19 still under control.

Exciting! Absolute dream run for the Queensland teams, though that was to be expected. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Lightning pretty much sow up a finals spot in this block of fixtures, they’re going around with the same successful group of players and every game bar the first is at USC.

Vixens v Magpies 5pm Sunday 2nd August. The only game in Round 1 that’s NOT on 9 so that I could record it. The game clashes with Pulse v Mystics. Decisions decisions.

Wow – NO games in Rounds 3 and 5 on Channel 9; but other rounds have 3 of the games in Rounds 1, 2, 4 and 6.
