Nice start from Steel
Mystics starting to make inroads now. I expect them to run away with it1/2 time: Steel 29-22
Halpenny 11/14 (79%)
McCollin 18/20 (90%)Nweke 20/21 (95%)
Vui 2/3 (67%)The lead got out to as much as 11 in that Q, but Mystics have narrowed that to 7. Steel still playing very solidly. It’s going to take a top effort from Mystics to claim the win.
Mccollin will gain so much playing for Steel this year. Her workload and fitness is getting better as the season goes on. Her movement and deception will be very handy for Trinidad and Tobago.
Mystics played 8 games at home in a row, time for the Steel to crank up the music.
Crampton with some awesome feeds
Steel really pushing out again, leading by 12!! Forced Mystics into a few changes in the midcourt. Emma Iverson coming on in Centre, and Dani Grey coming on in WD.
Mystics need to change their defensive style. The switching in the D isn’t working.
Back to 9, funner things have happened,
3/4 time: Steel 43-34
Halpenny 16/19 (84%)
McCollin 27/29 (93%)Nweke 29/30 (97%)
Tui 3/3 (100%)Well, Steel reasserted their dominance in that Q, taking their lead back out to 9. Hard to see Mystics coming back from this one. Crampton has been great. 25 assists already.
Maybe spoke too soon. Lead back to five just like that!
Mystics are charging. Lead back to 3!
Steel seemed to tightened up in attack, not flowing as freely. Mystics really charging back, but I’ll be a bit disappointed if Steel don’t come away with the win. 3 minutes to go!!
Steel by 3 with 90 sec left
What a win for Steel. Not good for Mystics’ grand final chances!
