Magic up 16-13 at the quarter break. Monica Falker is on the bench for the stars
1/2 time: Magic 30-24
Male umpire has a very big 3 foot – defence have been pinged unfairly. Stars are missing Crampton’s feeding vision – Mather and MRB maybe are a little too small to see over the arms.
Magic holds on 52-49!
Bugger – didn’t realise Crampton was gone. That’s my first dud pick of the comp. Nice for the Magic to get up.
A cracking game going on right now. Steel are up 27-25 over Pulse at half time!
this black hair female umpire has no clue. Walmsley on the back of Fifita and then gets thrown off of her and Fifita gets penalised? Savainaea (WD) was 2 metres in the goal circle in front of the umpire and she does nothing about it and then advances a penalty for Souness when she ran into Heffernan.
Walmsley is so soft, she needs to harden up. No wonder she got zero court time in the UK.
Pleased to see a Steel player got player of the match Georgia Heffernan played so well!
Woeful umpiring, Walsmley is a drama Queen. And sounds like Maddy Gordon will be out for a little while, hurt ankle
As good as the shooters for the Steel were, I would have liked to have seen O’Connel injected into the game in Qtr 4. As someone has said before, you need to have a gun centre and WA to be able to play a moving circle and with Saunders going off and Namana missing crucial goals under the hoop in Qtr 4, O’Connel would have been a good injection to at least try and get the bonus point.
