A good quarter for Mavericks, as they edged out to a lead of 5. Giants tried to peg them back through the super shot but were only successful with 2 from 5.

Love how the Giants are giving Letherbarrow the whole last quarter in such a tense situation- great opportunity for her to develop since they can’t make finals.

This is such an ugly game- not just because of the turnovers. There’s so much unnecessary physicality and then complaining to the umpires even though it’s an obvious call.

And I’d never noticed how much Parmy causes contact and then pretends to get pushed over. Love her! But don’t love that.

Mavs just hold on. That was a very ugly game to watch. Some not-so-careful physical play from both sides, you have to feel for Letherbarrow who was copping it in the last quarter. Will be great experience for her.

Giants in possession in the last minute looking for the winning goal. Suddenly POTM Kim Jenner came through with a tremendous intercept, just before a big collision with Amy Sligar. Cardwell scored and Mavs do it again!

Interesting stat that Bruce is the only Lightning player in the top 20 for contacts given how little she’s played this season.

Bruce with a hit on Dwan, no contact called and then she dobs Dwan in for blood from the hit. Cheeky!
