Looks like Gina Crampton is pregnant. So that’s another replacement needed.
Congratulations to Gina! Exciting news for her and her partner.
Not going to lie, a little gutted not to see her play in SSN this year. Wonder who Giants have in mind to replace her?Was thinking the same thing. Giants would have 100% been banking on her as most probably their starting WA.
Julie doesn’t often go imports, generally has her favourites in the pipeline. In saying that, not sure who’s next in her picking line, nor the talent in the Giants academy.
I did consider LGB but I don’t think she’s ever been involved in the Giants setup and Swifts have been the only ones interested in her.
Annie Miller is another one, she spent time at the Giants but not sure if she’s Sunshine Coast based still. Not sure who else is out there
Could we see Kelsey Browne make the move
Kelsey’s boyfriend plays for the Freo Dockers and she has a job in Perth.
She may not want to leave.Would imagine the Swifts would’ve gone to Browne first when Proud announced her pregnancy?
Recall Simmons saying she approached the Swifts…
Options may be thin on the ground for JFG.
I would doubt that but who knows?
Mwai Kumwenda is back, but this time in Fever green 🟢

Giants have signed Hope White. Great selection. Brilliant young player calling out for a chance and gets it. Aussie under 21 midcourter who is very much a natural WA.
Young gun Hope White earns her first @SuperNetball contract ✍️

It’s not that abnormal. A bunch of Tbirds players signed an extra year on their contracts til the end of 2026 at the end of last year
Ava Black has ruptured her ACL 🙁
