                This is just all one way traffic. The Steph-less Lightning attack just couldn’t handle the Tbirds defence and so now Fretwell is on. But the score is 15-5!!!

                      1/4 time: Tbirds 17-6

                      Thunderbirds just dominating this game from the start. Tbirds defence is right on top of Lightning’s attack so far. Watson and Koenen both with poor first Qs. The NNP tells the story… 144.5 for Tbirds and 20 for Lightning.

                          The mistakes continue to mount up from Lightning. They have been much more competitive in this second Q however. Tbirds 26-14.

                                1/2 time: Tbirds 31-20

                                A much improved 2nd Q for the home side, but after all that, they only drew it 14-14. Georgie Horjus having another great game and Latanya Wilson frustrating Liz Watson again. Courtney Bruce doing her best to keep Lightning in it.
