3/4 time: Vixens 46-40
Kumwenda 27/30
Austin 16/19Harten 19/26
Dwyer 16/18That Q was 13-13. Vixens still with a handy lead but certainly not a safe one. Austin perhaps just showing a few signs of fatigue in that Q. I wonder will Samason be brought on at some stage.
She was talking about Austin.
Anyone else notice that unnecessary little push JLP gave to Austin at the end of the third quarter?
A bit of a scrappy start to the last Q, but Vixens have extended their lead to 10. All coming apart now for Giants.
It is soo frustrating to watch some Giants constantly appeal to the umpire..
Vixens win it 64-52. Jo Weston gets the nod as Player of the Match, but in reality, Vixens didn’t have a weak player. They were excellent across the board. And Kiera Austin, what a terrific game up against her old side!
Full time: Vixens 64-52
Kumwenda 37/41 (90%)
Austin 24/27 (89%)Harten 25/34 (74%)
Dwyer 18/21 (86%)Super shots:
Vixens 3/7
Giants 9/16Assists: Watson 25
Gains: Weston 7POTM: Jo Weston (Vixens)
Austin did look a little tired but I think she will be better for having a full game under her belt.
Keep hearing how giants want to go 1 further than last year, no hope with this team,

Really willing Sophie Garbin on to a good performance tonight. We’ve just seen Kiera Austin starring against her old team. After a slow start in Magpie colours, it would be great if Garbin could do the same.
Can’t be good if Garbin is already subbed.
She’s been replaced halfway through Q1 by Sinclair. I feel very sad for her.
Maddy Proud is having an absolute stormer of a game for Swifts. In everything. Swifts up 15-14.
