I’m intrigued to see how the proposed SEN defence goes.

Lewis played her best netball behind the security of the long arms of Weston (and Eddy). Neither spend a lot of time out of play. Jenner is shorter than Weston and stands out of play a lot. Parmenter rumoured to men the WD is not the tallest WD around either. Will this expose Lewis? All are ball winners but I’m not sure how it will go.

They really need a tall (around 190) 3rd defender and given Lewis is very much a WIP at GD they need to be equally good at GK and GD. A rare commodity.

If the rumour is true should be a good move for Rudi Ellis. After Klau and Bruce Australia is desperately lacking tall strong GKs. Ellis without doubt has the physique and is one player Stacey will be watching I believe (along with Ervine). I know she has flaws in her game but the only way forward is court time and both Lewis and Dehaney flourished in that spot in recent seasons. So hopefully Ellis does similarly.

Bit of a devastated Fever supporter here but fair enough if Bruce wants to explore other career options. She’s been with Fever for nearly half her life and she has the right to try other things while she’s at the height of her career.

I don’t think Fever need many imports. There are some solid young GAs going around like people have mentioned- Allen, Batcheldor, Barkemeyer, Moore, even Sinclair.

And as for a new defence end if Ellis and Jenner leave, that will be harder, but Ash Ervin has the skill for a starting spot IMO even if not the experience. Fever could sign one of the Lightning defenders and maybe elevate a training partner from somewhere- probably not Dronfield just yet, but maybe Bridey Condren from SCL? She filled in for Fever during hub season.

They’ll definitely need an import for experience in the back though, for when Aryang isn’t on. Was it Williams being rumoured to head there?

Sunday’s sister, Ruth, is a defender, and in my opinion, with experience, could be even better than Sunday. Has been making her way back from a knee injury.

Well according to Code Sports Rudi Ellis is supposedly going to the Vixens

Fever interested in Stower and SEN interested in Nankivell.

I feel like Stower would replace Cosh. Fever could have a 50% new team. So many combinations to establish.

FB midcourt to be as expected Rav, Dunkley, Gardner and one of Veve or Lees MiMi.

Love the idea of Jenner getting some more court time she feels so close to being a star player in the right environment

Her and parmenter hunting will create havoc lots of long bombs and missed feeds I imagine if Jenner can stay in play

Palavi would be a good pick-up for Tbirds considering she’s a strong GS but can play a little in GA
