Well, well, well finally, I don’t see what all the mystery was about, there aren’t any real shocks. Unless you count, Jade Clarke, Passmore and Maslen.

I know Anya Williams is young so she’ll be part of the U23 team. I’m not sure about Passmore and Maslen.

I knew the NI and Scottish players would miss out but I hope Goodwin, Nicoll and Mcall get signed up at the lower level. They are NSL standard and should be valuable as injury cover.

I’ll need to check the teams again as there are a few names I can’t see and I don’t recall them saying goodbye.

‘Lack of human touch’ – Jones details Dragons exit

An emotional former Wales captain Nia Jones believes her departure from Cardiff Dragons could have been handled more sensitively.

Wonder how England Netball would cope without the subs of players in the south and south west of the country? They are being totally ignored in all this – wouldn’t this have been a great opportunity to at least get them excited about the new league by holding this new competition (although I’m sure I’ve heard the name before somewhere 😉 ) South of Watford?

Another missed opportunity – quelle surprise.

If EN doesn’t get a hold of this situation pretty fast, there are a lot of emerging netballers that will be going to other sports – I know of at least 12 talented U17s and the same no of U19s who are moving to hockey and athletics because “there’s no one looking at us”. Doesn’t take much to discourage a whole age group, either.
