      I’m really impressed by Grant, she offers so much more movement than Prosser. TPSR needs to step up a bit though, it might be better if they play the other way around.

      Fisher is so good, she’ll be really valuable for England at CWG. Based on her form I wouldn’t even be surprised to see starting over Harten or Housby come next year.

        1/4 time: Tactix 12-11

        At one stage in that Q, Tactix led 10-5, but a late flurry of Steel goals brought the margin back to 1. So far, Tiana Metuarau hasn’t put up a single shot for Steel. Kate Grant has been quite effective as Bird’s replacement. Turnovers: Steel 7-4

            Te Paea needs to be the senior shooter, but is doing very little.

              1/2 time: Steel 24-21

              Shooting % is going to prove vital in this game and at the moment, Steel are travelling along nicely at 96% (Fisher 22/23) compared to Tactix’s 72%. That’s the difference. Amelia Walmsley came on to replace Grant in that Q. Turnovers: Steel 13-10

                at one point Te Paea looked more interesting in setting her pony tail rather than defending….quite funny to watch.

                    The placement on the pass from TPSR is poor, she needs to let the ball go a lot faster as well. She’s starting to shoot very nicely though.

                          3/4 time: Steel 37-35

                          Tactix won that Q, but they lost a big chance to equalise just before 3/4 time when they were guilty of just not moving, not offering, and so a turnover resulted and Steel scored. Anyone’s game but Steel do look the more likely at this stage.

                            There is so much space in the circle for TPSR to drive into but she refuses to and then takes about 5 passes before shooting or passing off. It’s very risky and frustrating. The defensive pressure has been great though, the Steel attack has fallen apart.

                                Oh TPSR …brought great intensity for a few minutes – and then did a stupid brain f..t and threw the ball back so far it was over a quarter.
