And just like that the Magic are title contenders. This is probably the strongest they can field. If Fowler was available I’d have her at WD and move Tong to GD. Tong is too good to sit on the bench but likewise is too short for GK. Needs to change her focus to WD/GD. Mikaere live her but hasn’t set the count on Fire when she’s on.

I think even McPhee will be more than happy to sit behind bass and learn from her!

They’ve just announced the Aussie diamonds 20/21 are announced tomorrow so it might be good timing for her to announce retirement internationally and to say she’s moving to ANZ?
I think it’s a shame if she does retire as they need her experience for the goalers. But you can understand and she must feel very low in confidence having played so few minutes this season. Bets on her getting on the court for her last game?

Mcleod, if Bassett isn’t signing with the Magic, why did they not name their squad all in one go? Also, why did Taurua bother commenting on the matter if it isn’t happening? It does feel like I am waiting for a worst kept ‘secret’ player signing to become official.
