Missing 2 games in a row in a *normal* season = 2 weeks
Missing 2 games in a row in 2020 = 4 days 😅
We'd love to have Em on court tonight (and she would love to be there!) but we have an incredibly talented squad up in QLD to help navigate us through this unique 2020 season👊 https://t.co/N0ljmwHFHA

I’d start Weston at GK again, if she can play that well there against Fowler I’m sure she’ll be just as strong against Wallace or Garbin.
I’d like to see the Swifts actually play Wallace/Housby/Proud/Hadley for a half. Hadley had a great game against Watson last time but I think without her in attack they make too many errors. Play Turner against Watson, her hands-over would be effective.
I’d play Turner against Phillip tbh since she always seems to match up well on her, if they bring Thwaites to GA then maybe bring Moore on? Although Turner could be good too just to wear her down and exploit her fitness(although it seems she’s pretty rock solid)
Swifts
GS Wallace
GA Housby
WA Haythornthwaite
C Proud
WD Hadley
GD Turner
GK KlauVixens
GS Kumwenda
GA Thwaites
WA Watson
C Moloney
WD Eddy
GD Weston
GK DehaneyAhhh wish Vixens has started with Weston at GK. I expect Wallace will give Dehaney a lesson. However, can understand they probably want Weston on Housby as shutting her down last time went a long way to winning the game. Shame they don’t have two Jos! But seeing as they don’t select the better combination and that was definitely Weston – Eddy – Smith last week.
Great start to this game. Top quality. Vixens 8-7
A great little rotation with Housby and Wallace both going around the outside of the goal post and swapping where they were, defenders couldn’t catch that and it was a nice little in sync movement to watch 🤣
Big difference between the two teams so far is the GKs. Klau is hunting and Dehaney is watching and not going for anything. Klau will win ball in time.
I remember that there was a time where people were worried about who would get the start between Thwaites and Kumwenda in the past few seasons. Who would have guessed the Philip would be the one off and Thwaites at GA
Watson lands awkwardly and takes a while to get back up, Honey comes on at WA
Watson with a rolled ankle and she is off.
Klau came out and Watson dropped the pass and rolled the ankle. Please note not saying Klau injured Watson.
Am pointing out Klau winning ball though.
